Flood Report
Flood damage assessment surveys will be undertaken within properties to determine the amount of any water damage, identify the area of the leak or to demonstrate to insurers that leaks have developed. Again, our trained and competent Water Restoration Technicians and Thermal Imaging Specialists will attend the scene and deliver a professional report mapping all moisture and water damage, and make suggestions regarding restoration and repair.
Why You Need a Flood Report
Mold as well as moisture within your property can present a severe health hazard.
Building moisture intrusion will not only bring about damage to the building, but may also be a major health hazard for the inhabitants ; breathing in mold growth spores is usually unnoticed, but as time passes, can cause asthma, bronchitis and major lung infections. Insulation issues, water intrusion and inefficient ventilation can all be causal of moisture and mold growth.
How Do You Assess The Flood & Water Damage?
A thermal imaging survey is the primary, non-invasive, method of highlighting issues that cause mould, identifying water ingress areas, and discovering the genesis of mould growth. Surveys are conducted without needing to damage or cut into any of the building, and we produce an expert report, beyond the necessary standard of insurance companies, within 72 hours of conducting the survey. The thermal imaging report will contain thermal images, digital images, analysis, moisture readings, and our recommendations.
Thermal Imaging Flood & Moisture Assessment Reports
Our trained thermal imaging specialists are also equipped with top quality Moisture Measurement equipment. We use top quality protimeters which apply a non-invasive radio frequency ( ultrasound ) to assess the depth of the damp below the surface of any material.
We are then able to integrate both kinds of systems ( the thermal imaging surveillance equipment and the moisture meter ) to provide an accurate area of contamination; a map of exactly where the moisture has afflicted the materials, and currently inhabits. We are able to do this with both minor, and major water damage constructions.
These very same methods are used for flat roofs to ascertain water ingress issues, water damaged roofs, areas of saturated decking, and to determine other problem areas which includes heat and energy loss.
